Rembrandt and Van Gogh – Artists’ Colonies in Oosterbeek and Laren
Art Journey to the Netherlands | October 5th – October 9th, 2025
Rembrandt and Vincent van Gogh are two outstanding artists whose works can be admired in Amsterdam at the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum.
Art enjoyment in nature – this is what the renowned Kröller-Müller Museum offers. The focus is on the world’s largest collection of works by Vincent van Gogh, along with many other significant contemporaries. Another highlight is Europe’s largest sculpture park, featuring more than 100 sculptures from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
In the former artists’ colony of Oosterbeek, a small group of romantically inclined painters settled in the mid-19th century to capture the characteristic landscape of Gelderland.
The tour will be conducted in German and begins with a bus departure from Wiesbaden.
