On the Tracks of the Impressionists in Barbizon and Giverny
6-Day Art Journey from May 22nd to May 27th, 2025
Artists from all over the world came to Barbizon, the mother of all artists’ colonies, to paint together in front of nature. Through their plein air painting, they influenced the later generation of Impressionist artists. In Auvers-sur-Oise, Vincent van Gogh painted his impressive final works. The highlight of the journey is the visit to Claude Monet’s Japanese water lily garden in Giverny.
The tour will be conducted in German and begins with a bus departure from Wiesbaden.
